White may be our best-selling colour when it comes to Bed Linen, but that’s not to say it’s all we do!
In our Hemstitch and Heritage Collections, you’ll find a warm Ivory and a cool Silver, just waiting to be discovered. We make everything in small batches as we are firm believers in doing so and only making what we need - so we don’t always hold enormous amounts of stock in these shades - but we can very quickly get a set made up for you if it’s not in stock.
The warm Ivory has a beautiful creaminess to it, helped by the slight sheen the TC500 sateen Egyptian cotton provides. It’s quite dreamy, and very cosy. It works well with natural wooden tones and rich textures and colours. The go-to trim colour with Ivory sheets is white, but that’s not to say you can’t try something else. We made some sets for a VIP recently with a warm chocolate colour trim, and it was so elegant.
The Silver sateen is very smart. Teamed with a sleek slate trim, it is very clean cut. You can choose to either have silver fabric on the top and underside of your pillowcases and duvet covers or have a contrasting white for a flash of wow. When you open up your duvet cover at night, you just can’t help but feel a little smug at the sheer elegance of it all. Cool Silver works well with cool blues and light-coloured throws.
As with our white bed linen, it’s designed to not steal the show. Interior Designers use our linens to complement their bedroom schemes, not overtake them. Simple, elegant, and made to last. Doesn’t that feel good?
