Which of your projects are you most proud of and why?
Bonadea holds a special place in my heart. It was one of those projects where everything aligned beautifully, the right client with a clear vision, a wonderful location, and the opportunity to collaborate with my favourite artisans and suppliers. The interior exudes femininity in the most subtle, elegant way. It's not just beautiful to look at; it feels right, and that's what I'm always striving to achieve.

What do you look for when you’re creating the dream bedroom for your client?
I start by really understanding the client. How do they sleep? Do they travel frequently? Do they have young children who might need access during the night? All of these lifestyle factors inform the design.
I'm also quite serious about feng shui in bedrooms. The placement of the bed, the flow of the room, and the relationship between furniture and features all affect how restful the space feels. People are often surprised by how much difference these decisions make to their sleep quality.
I also love understanding the small personal preferences. Some clients want completely clear bedside tables, just a lamp and perhaps a glass of water. Others need space for books, notebooks, and reading glasses. These details matter enormously when you're designing what is probably the most intimate room in the home.

Which incoming trends do you currently see for bedrooms?
While we try to create timeless spaces rather than follow trends, I have noticed a significant shift: people are genuinely prioritising sleep and rest in a way they perhaps didn't before.
It's likely connected to the long hours many of our clients work, combined with how difficult it's become to disconnect when phones and laptops are always within reach. There's a real need for bedrooms that function as true sanctuary spaces with a cocooning, almost closeted warmth that encourages genuine rest in the most intimate room in the home.

How does London & Avalon bed linen enhance your projects?
London & Avalon brings something essential to our bedroom projects: exceptional quality that you can both see and feel. The craftsmanship is evident in how the linen looks, but more importantly, in how it feels against the skin.
The best interiors aren't just about how they look; they're about how they feel. This bed linen has that immediate, sensory appeal, smooth, indulgent, utterly luxurious against the skin. If I had to describe it, it feels like drinking the smoothest hot chocolate before bed, that immediate sense of comfort and indulgence.
