The Anatomy of a Perfectly Made Bed

The Anatomy of a Perfectly Made Bed

Much thought goes into the anatomy of a perfectly made bed. Each element has been designed and considered.

Building up your bedscape layer by layer ensures you'll slip into bed each night, completely coveted by the designs and the feeling you love.

Choose from a number of pillowcase designs, using either a contemporary housewife design with our Signature Grosgrain Ribbon trim - available in a wide range of colours - or a more traditional Oxford style pillowcase, with a 5cm border edge. Choose the inset grosgrain trim, or a delicate hemstitch design.

Our TC500 sateen fabric is available in white, ivory or silver and the feel is buttery smooth and gets softer with each wash.

Choose a duvet cover that's been designed with thought. Our duvet covers have a French Tail opening instead of fiddly buttons or zips that break in the wash. The French Tail also tucks tightly underneath the mattress ensuring no one can steal the duvet in the night.

On warmer nights, ditch the duvet and sleep under a cool Island Collection Flat Sheet. Woven in a percale weave, it allows air flow and keeps you cool at night.

On cosier nights, or just for dressing your bed during the day, opt for a throw or two in different textures to break up the block of solid white colour bed linen. It immediately adds softness and draws you in. Our Interior Designer clients like to use a couple of different coloured throws, to pull in other colours in the room, whether it be a decorative cushion, a lamp, the blinds or curtains.
