Restoration Duvet Cover
A classic revisited, our Restoration Duvet Cover is made from the same 500 thread count Pima cotton as our Heritage fabric, woven in a sateen finish. It is soft against the skin from the very first night, and gets softer with every wash, whilst remaining bright white wash after wash.
This collection is made in collaboration with Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, pairing our finest sateen with a palette of calming, plant-based paint colours chosen to soothe and restore. Edward Bulmer is a celebrated British interior designer and pioneer of sustainable paint, known for restoring some of the country's most distinguished historic homes, including Althorp and Goodwood.
Every duvet cover closes with our signature French Tail, a closure that tucks neatly under the mattress and holds everything in place without a single button or zip.
Trims
Our Restoration Duvet Covers are available with Double Hemstitch detail in three colours that match Edward Bulmer's best-selling shades: Jonquil, Ethereal Blue, and Fawn.
We have worked with the same artisan mills across Europe, for over twenty years. All our bed and bath linen is woven and finished in Portugal and Italy and our cashmere and woollen products come from Scotland, Wales and the British borders. Every product has been designed and specified by us, from the yarn to the finished item, to ensure a perfect and lasting experience.
Certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® - Every component is tested for harmful substances, down to the thread. We are proud to be the first bedlinen company certified by Positive Luxury.

The French Tail
Most duvet covers close with buttons and drift by morning. Ours ends in a long tail that tucks deep under the mattress, holding the duvet square to the bed all night.
It is one of the reasons hotels specify us, and the detail customers mention most often in reviews.
Grosgrain ribbon trim
Grosgrain Trim
Grosgrain is a ribbed ribbon woven from heavier weft threads across a finer warp, giving it a firm, textured structure. It is applied as an edging or contrast border on bed linen. The dense weave holds its shape and colour through repeated laundering.
Single hemstitch detail
Hemstitch
A single hemstitch is a drawn-thread finish, made by removing a row of weft threads and binding the remaining warp threads into small, evenly spaced groups. This creates one row of open, ladder-like stitching along the hem, giving a classic, traditional look.
Available in Heritage White, Silver and Ivory.
Double Hemstitch detail
Double Hemstitch
A double hemstitch uses the same drawn-thread technique as a single hemstitch, worked as two parallel rows instead of one. Each row is stitched separately, requiring a second pass along the hem, for a more pronounced version of the classic hemstitch look.

Please refer to our size guide to find the correct size items for your US mattress. Some UK and US pillowcases are the same size, but duvets and duvet covers do differ. You can either purchase a UK sized duvet and duvet cover from us that will work with your US mattress, or you can purchase a US size duvet cover through our made to order service. We stock US King, Queen and Full size fitted sheets. Please see size guide for more details.

No. Once you input your delivery address at the check out, all duties and taxes are calculated for you based on your location, and are paid for at the check out.

In stock bed linen, bath linen and accessories typically take 2–4 working days in the UK and 4–7 in the US/EU from the point of ordering.
For monogrammed items, please add 5–10 working days. For freshly filled bedding items, please add 10–15 working days.
Made-to-order linen takes 6-8 weeks.

Our 500 thread count Pima sateen Heritage cotton is a little warmer than our percale Island Egyptian cotton, but that's more to do with the weave than the thread count.
A percale cotton is cool, crisp and breathable due to the one-over one-under basket like weave, allowing more air to travel through the fabric.
A sateen cotton that has a 3-over one-under weave is more insulating. Both are more breathable than a synthetic weave, but if you are a warm sleeper, our Island Collection would suit you better.

Yes. Six different colour trims are stocked for immediate despatch, with another 35 that are available to order through our made to order service. We can also dye match a grosgrain ribbon to any swatch, paint reference or fabric you send us.
Do you offer a trade or designer account?
Do you offer a trade or designer account?
We do, for interior designers, hoteliers and private clients furnishing a large project.
You will be assigned a sales person, who will see your project through from first quote to delivery and install.
They will prepare a personalised sample pack, or come and visit you (up to 3 hours from London) to take you through the entire range. They will provide you with all pricing requirements, including bespoke sizing and all possibilities, and personally oversee your project to the end.
